The daytime question
Permanent lighting does not disappear when the lights are off, so the track finish matters. CHIPR LUX uses custom-fitted 6063 aluminum track. It is powder-coated and color-matched in Utah using physical material swatches so it blends with the roofline during daylight. Seasonal strands can be a good fit when you want a temporary display, frequently change the layout, decorate only one small area, or do not want hardware mounted year-round. Permanent lighting can be a better fit when you want a low-profile daytime installation and regular control without repeating the roof access work.
Warranty and long-term responsibility
The CHIPR LUX product warranty lasts 10 years and labor is covered for one year. Product coverage includes manufacturing defects, water ingress, and color failure. It does not cover power surges, lightning, hail, fallen branches, ice damage, flooding, other acts of nature, third-party damage, roof work by other contractors, customer modifications, or improper voltage. Installation and future access
CHIPR LUX crews measure the home, fit the track, install the RGBW lights, wiring, power supply, and control hub, then complete the app handoff.
